Mirage® è, prima di tutto, le persone che ne fanno parte. Negli
ultimi tre anni il numero dei nostri dipendenti è cresciuto del
13,3%: questo significa prendersi cura ogni giorno di qualcuno
in più. Per farlo, assicuriamo a chi fa parte di Mirage un ambiente di
lavoro inclusivo e famigliare. Ma siamo anche consapevoli del ruolo che
le imprese come la nostra occupano all’interno della società, dove in un
contesto in continua evoluzione, diventa fondamentale la capacità di
adattarsi e di innovare, ma soprattutto la capacità di riuscire a farlo in
modo sostenibile.

Mirage’s most valuable asset is its people.
Over the past three years, the number of
our employees and collaborators has
increased. This means taking care of
someone new every day.
To do this, we make every effort to create
an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere
for the entire Mirage workforce. However,
we also recognise the role that companies
like ours play in society, where it is critical
to be adaptive, innovative and, most
importantly, sustainable in an ever-changing
environment.
Mirage sind in erster Linie die Menschen,

Per questo ci siamo dotati di un Sistema di Gestione Ambientale
che ci consente di monitorare costantemente il nostro impatto
ambientale e di migliorare le nostre performance.
ACQUA
Riutilizziamo il 100% delle acque di processo. Analizziamo con cadenza
regolare i nostri consumi, e per diminuire ulteriormente l’acqua
prelevata dall’acquedotto abbiamo creato un bacino arti
ficiale in cui
raccogliamo l’acqua piovana.
Nel 2023 tale bacino
è stato ampliato, per permetterci di raggiungere,
entro il 2025, un obiettivo ambizioso: l’autosu
fficienza idrica.
SCARTI
Reimpieghiamo il 100% dello scarto crudo proveniente dalla
produzione. Riutilizziamo il 100% del nostro scarto cotto e una parte di
quello che proviene da altre aziende.
Per massimizzare il recupero degli scarti la gestione dei ri
fiuti
industriali
è integrata nelle attivit
à del Sistema di Gestione Ambientale.
EFFICIENZA ENERGETICA
Adottiamo le tecnologie pi
ù e
fficienti per ridurre il nostro consumo
energetico, contribuendo a limitare l’emissione di CO
2
nell’atmosfera.
Abbiamo installato due impianti di cogenerazione, che ci consentono di
sfruttare l’energia termica naturalmente generata. Per poter recuperare
anche il calore proveniente dai forni, abbiamo investito nelle tecnologie
pi
ù avanzate del settore. Nel complesso, le tonnellate di CO
2
che ogni
anno risparmiamo sono ben oltre 17.000, pari all’emissione annuale di
CO2 di circa 3.173 individui.
Entro il 2025 concluderemo il progetto di un nuovo polo logistico dotato
di un ulteriore impianto fotovoltaico e per il quale compenseremo
interamente le emissioni di CO
2
.
DURABILITÀ
Per Mirage, qualità è sinonimo di durabilit
à dei prodotti. E durabilità è
sinonimo di consumo responsabile.
I nostri prodotti hanno una vita superiore ai 60 anni. Una volta dismesso,
il gres porcellanato Mirage è comunque riciclabile al 100%.
This is why we have implemented an Environmental Management System that allows
us to constantly monitor our environmental impact and improve our performance.
Water
We re-use 100% of our process waters. We
analyse our consumption at regular intervals,
and to cut the amount of water taken from
the aqueduct even further, we have created
an artificial basin in which we collect
rainwater.
In 2023 this basin was expanded, with the
aim, by the end of 2025, of achieving an
ambitious objective: self-sufficiency in terms
of water.
Waste
We re-use 100% of raw waste from the
production process. We re-use 100% of our
own fired waste and part of fired waste from
other companies.
To maximise waste recovery, industrial
waste management is integrated into the
Environmental Management System.
Energy efficiency
We adopt the most efficient technologies to
reduce our energy consumption, helping to limit
the emission of CO
2
into the atmosphere. We have
installed two cogeneration plants that allow us
to utilise naturally produced thermal energy.
We have also invested in the most advanced
technology in the industry to recover heat from
furnaces. We save a total of over 17,000 tonnes
of CO2 a year, equal to the CO
2
emissions per year
of around 3173 people.
Our new logistics centre is expected to be
completed by 2025, and will be equipped
with a photovoltaic system to completely
offset CO
2
emissions.
Durability
For Mirage, quality is synonymous with
product durability, which in turn is
synonymous with responsible consumption.
Our products last for more than 60 years, and
at the end of its useful life, Mirage porcelain
stoneware is 100% recyclable.
