Ceramica Sant’Agostino products give a very good performance on the requirements of LEED certifications. Our
production uses a certified percentage of recycled material above 20% (pre-consumer material). No toxic substance
is released, no contribution to heath island effect is caused, and production is carried out in factories with envi-
ronmental management system.
LEED is a complex system that provides for different analysis: for the Design and Construction of Buildings for new con-
structions, schools and many other categories (BD + C) and for Operation and Maintenance for existing buildings, schools
etc. (O + M).
The LEED system is composed of eight main rating categories (applicable according to the situation) divided into more
sub-categories of prerequisites and criteria covering all aspects connected to the environmental impact of constructions
or to a building management, from the choice of material to the building methods.
Every standard, if its requirements are satisfied, gives one or more LEED points. By adding them you have the final score
corresponding to some categories that determines the environmental building impact under all points of view:
Certified: 40-49points
Silver: 50-59 points
Gold: 60-79 points
Platinum: 80+ points
The LEED score creates a standard on the market that gives the possibility to compare the performance of the buildings in
an objective, safe and shared way.
Objective because the building certification is carried out by an external body that analyses the data and declares the score
reached.
Safe because the certification process is transparent, based on data and evidence, proved.
Shared because the certifying body is unique, independent and made of professionals expert in eco-sustainable building.

I prodotti Ceramica Sant’Agostino rispondono in modo
ottimale ai requisiti richiesti dalle certificazioni LEED.
Per realizzarli viene utilizzata una percentuale certificata
di materiale riciclato superiore al 20%* ( materiale
pre-consumo). Non rilasciano sostanze tossiche, nè
contribuiscono all’effetto isola di calore e vengono realizzati
in stabilimento con sistema di gestione ambientale.
LEED è un sistema articolato che prevede analisi
differenziate: per la Progettazione e Costruzione degli
Edifici per nuove costruzioni, scuole e tante altre categorie
(BD+C) e per Uso e Manutenzione per gli edifici esistenti,
scuole etc. (O+M).
Il sistema LEED è un sistema a punteggio composto
da otto categorie principali (applicabili a seconda della
situazione) e a loro volta suddivise in un elenco di
prerequisiti e criteri che coprono tutti gli aspetti legati
all’impatto ambientale delle costruzioni o della gestione di
un edificio, dalla scelta dei materiali ai metodi costruttivi.
Ogni criterio, se soddisfatti i suoi requisiti, dà luogo ad uno
o più punti LEED. Sommandoli si rientra in determinate
categorie che determinano l’impatto ambientale di una
costruzione sotto tutti i punti di vista:
Certificazione Base (Certified, 40-49 punti)
Certificazione Argento (Silver, 50-59 punti)
Certificazione Oro (Gold, 60-79 punti)
Certificazione Platino (Platinum, 80+)
Il punteggio LEED crea quindi uno standard sul mercato
che dà la possibilità di confrontare le performance degli
edifici in maniera oggettiva, sicura, condivisa.
Oggettiva perché la certificazione dell’edificio è effettuata
da un ente esterno che analizza i dati e decreta il
punteggio da assegnare.
Sicura perché il processo di certificazione è trasparente,
basato su dati ed evidenze, documentato.
Condiviso perché l’organismo certificatore è unico,
indipendente e composto da professionisti esperti in
edilizia eco-sostenibile.

Die Produkte von Ceramica Sant’Agostino entsprechen
optimal den von den LEED-Zertifizierungen verlangten
Anforderungen. Zur Herstellung wird ein Recyclinganteil von
über 20%* verwendet (pre-consumer material). Das Material
gibt keine giftigen Substanzen ab und trägt nicht zum
Wärmeinseleffekt bei, die Herstellung erfolgt in Werken mit
Umweltmanagementsystem.

für Neubauten, Schulen und zahlreiche andere Kategorien

Hauptkategorien vergeben werden (die je nach der jeweiligen
Situation anwendbar sind) und ihrerseits wiederum in eine
Liste von vorausgehenden Anforderungen und Kriterien
unterteilt sind, mit denen alle Aspekte im Zusammenhang
mit der Einwirkung auf die Umwelt durch Gebäude oder
durch das Management von Gebäuden verbunden sind,
von der Wahl der Materialien bis hin zu den bautechnischen
Methoden.

Les produits Ceramica Sant’Agostino sont absolument confor-
mes au référentiel LEED. Pour les réaliser, Ceramica Sant’Agostino
utilise plus de 20 %* certifiés de matériaux recyclés (surplus de
matériau). Ils ne libèrent aucune substance toxique, ni ne con-
tribuent à l’effet îlot de chaleur et sont réalisés dans des usines
gérées par un système de management environnemental.
LEED est un système complexe qui prévoit des méthodes
d'analyse selon la destination: pour la conception et mise en
ouvre des nouveaux bâtiments, écoles et aussi autres catégories
(BD+C) et pour utilisation et rénovation de ceux qui sont déjàen

Балльная система LEED создает своего рода стандарт
на рынке, позволяющий сравнивать эксплуатационные
характеристики зданий объективным, надежным и
согласованным методом. Объективный потому, что
сертификация здания выполняется независимой
организацией, которая анализирует данные и принимает
решение о количестве присвоенных баллов.
Надежный потому, что процесс сертификации
прозрачен, основан на данных и очевидных фактах,
подтвержден документами. Согласованный, потому что
сертифицирующий орган – единственный, независимый
и состоит из профессионалов и специалистов в вопросах
экоустойчивого строительства.
