How do you design an interior worthy
of the designation “transitional”? Using
which materials, colours and shapes?
And how can the balancing act between
traditional and contemporary resonances
be combined with new, individual ideas?
Rafael de Cárdenas and Lyndon Neri have
found highly impressive, innovative answers
to these questions. The material collages
on this and the following pages are two
additional examples. They underline once
more the versatile and progressive elegance
with which VAIA fits into very different
furnishing styles. However, they just pro-
vide inspiration: the way in which you
interpret Transitional Style, how and where
you use VAIA, in which variant and in
conjunction with which materials and colours

TON SUR TON
EN The “Ton sur Ton” collage describes an
elegant, neutral world with a subtle colour
palette and finely combined material textures.
Marble, with its brownish tint and large grain,
reflects classic elements, while concrete
and DARK PLATINUM MATT bridge the gap
to modernity.
