TIMED TAPS

TECHNICAL NOTES, INSTALLATION AND SERVICE ADVICES

The timed cartridges of MAGIC - MINIMAGIC - MAGIC V P range are made in brass, the needle self-cleaning and the balancing spring are

made in stainless steel and the tank is made in hostaform. They do not deform, have an unlimited life and are extremely easy to maintain. Never throw

the MAGIC cartridge away!

� For the maintenance do not use grease, it is enough wash carefully all the parts of the cartridge with water and check that there are not foreign

bodies on the flat washer and on the special washer of the plunger.

� The closing of the taps happen only due to the pump that is inside of the cartridge. If the tap do not close, do not extend the stainless steel because

it has only the function of “balancing” for the closing time at low or high pressure.

� It’s important to use the polystyrene protection supplied in all the recessed models for easy access to the tangs and clean the filters and non-return

valves.

unscrew the cover under the handle and take

out the cartridge.

Unscrew the cartridge’s body and clean the

flat washer and clean carefully the special

washer, above all in the new installations

because it is very probable that the pipes are

not clean.

If after some years the components of the

cartridge are worn, with hexagonal spanner

7 mm. disassemble the stainless steel pin and

replace the pieces with “indivisible kit”.

Reassemble the cartridge without use grease

and use a screwdriver to remove the

pushbutton and replace th o-ring

washer and the special washer. Reassemble

the cartridge without put any grease inside. If

the cartridge parts are worn-out, replace them

with the “indivisible kit”

to adjust the water supply, take away the

cartridge using a spanner 28 mm. With a

screwdriver screw or unscrew.

To obtain more water = screw

To obtain less water = unscrew
