DISPONIBILITÀ DI EPD CERTIFICATA

L’ENVIRONMENTAL PRODUCT DECLARATION (EPD) rappresenta

una sorta di carta di identità dei prodotti, ne descrive l’impatto

sull’ambiente dalla fase di estrazione delle materie prime alla com-

mercializzazione e per l’intero ciclo di vita fino allo smaltimento.

Fap dispone di una EPD certificata

da un organismo di parte terza in-

dipendente.

tori, che rispettano almeno uno dei criteri riportati, per almeno il

40% in costo, del valore totale dei prodotti da costruzione installati

in modo permanente nel progetto. (2 punti)

Contenuto di materiale riciclato. Prodotti che rispettano il requisi-

to del contenuto di materiale riciclato sono valutati al 100% del loro

costo per il calcolo del raggiungimento del credito.

REPORT DEGLI INGREDIENTI DEI MATERIALI

Utilizzare prodotti installati in modo permanente che utilizzano

uno dei seguenti programmi per l’inventario chimico del prodot-

to, per sostanze con concentrazione maggiore o uguale a 0,1 %

(1000 ppm).

• Declare: l’etichetta Declare dovrà rispondere ai seguenti

requisiti:

- Rispondere al requisito “Red List Free” oppure “Declared”.

- Essere conforme ad LBC (Living Building Challenge) e dimostrare

un inventario fino allo 0,1% (1000 ppm)

The LEED standard is a certification system that indicates the requirements for the construction of environmentally sustainable buildings. The LEED certifi-

cation was devised by the U.S. Green Building Council and is recognised at international level. It certifies that a building complies with the environment and

that it is a healthy place in which to live and work. The system consists of a methodology of credits that are connected with the sustainability requirements.

The standards of the system can be applied to the entire life cycle of buildings: from the planning stage, maintenance activities and subsequent renovation.

Encourage the use of products and

materials for which information is

available on their life cycle, and which

have a lower impact on the life cycle

from an ecological, financial and so-

cial viewpoint.

AVAILABLE OF CERTIFIED EPD

THE ENVIRONMENTAL PRODUCT DECLARATION (EPD) is a sort

of identity card of the products; it describes their impact on the

environment starting from the extraction of raw materials to the

marketing phase, and for their entire life cycle, right up to disposal.

Fap has an EPD that is certified by

an independent external body.

RESPONSIBLE SOURCING OF RAW MATERIALS

Use products sourced from at least three different manufacturers

that meet at least one of the responsible sourcing and extraction

criteria below for at least 20%, by cost, of the total value of perma-

nently installed building products in the project. (1 point).

Use products sourced from at least five different manufacturers

that meet at least one of the responsible sourcing and extraction

criteria below for at least 40%, by cost, of the total value of perma-

nently installed building products in the project (2 points).

Recycled content. Products meeting recycled content criteria are

valued at 100% of their cost for the purposes of credit achievement

calculation.
