Fap ceramiche dispone della ENVIRONMENTAL PRODUCT DECLARATION (EPD). Certificata da un organismo terzo

indipendente L’EPD rappresenta una sorta di carta di identità dei prodotti, ne descrive l’impatto sull’ambiente dalla fase di

estrazione delle materie prime alla commercializzazione e durante l’intero ciclo di vita fino allo smaltimento.

Fap ceramiche has the ENVIRONMENTAL PRODUCT DECLARATION (EPD) certified by an independent third party. The

EPD is a kind of identity card for products that outlines the environmental impact from the extraction of raw materials to

marketing and throughout the entire life cycle until disposal.

strumento di dichiarazione ambientale promosso dalla UE. La PEF di Fap ceramiche è certificata da un ente terzo indipendente.

Fap ceramiche is one of the first companies in the ceramic industry to have adopted the PRODUCT ENVIRONMENTAL FOOTPRINT

(PEF), an environmental declaration tool endorsed by the EU. Fap Ceramiche’s PEF has been verified by an independent third party.

Una FDES è una Scheda di Dichiarazione Ambientale e Sanitaria. Queste schede sono realizzate al

fine d’informare

l’utilizzatore dell’impatto ambientale e sanitario del prodotto analizzato. La FDES riguarda soltanto i prodotti per l’edilizia

ed è elaborata a partire dall’analisi dell’intero ciclo di vita del prodotto.

An FDES is an Environmental and Health Declaration Sheet that provides information about a product’s impact on the

environment and human health. The FDES is developed by analysing the entire lifecycle of the product and only applies to

construction products.

CAM (CRITERI AMBIENTALI MINIMI) Le più recenti normative indicano un obbligo per le Pubbliche Amministrazioni di

inserire i CAM per i prodotti a ridotto impatto ambientale. Nel rispetto dei requisiti CAM, Fap Ceramiche dispone di una

certificazione di parte terza in relazione al superamento dei requisiti richiesti dalla norma ISO 14021.

CAM (MINIMUM ENVIRONMENTAL CRITERIA) In accordance with the latest regulations, public entities are required to

include CAM for products with minimal environmental impact. To comply with CAM, Fap Ceramiche has obtained third-

party certification that confirms it exceeds the standards set by the ISO 14021 standard.

Fap ceramiche participates in the voluntary DECLARE programme, which transparently informs designers, companies and final

consumers about the origins of a product, its production process and proper disposal methods at the end of its lifecycle.

L’organismo indipendente DNV ha certificato che tutte le piastrelle in pasta bianca (wall tiles) di Fap ceramiche contengono

più del 20% di materiale riciclato pre-consumer.

The independent organisation, DNV, has certified that all white-body wall tiles produced by Fap ceramiche contain more

than 20% pre-consumer recycled material.
