L’utilizzo dei raccordi originali Effebi-press Pressfitting,
abbinati ai tubi corretti e alle attrezzature di pressatura
approvate nonché l’applicazione scrupolosa delle istruzioni
tecniche illustrate, sia in fase di progetto che di installazione
dell’impianto, garantiscono la durata degli impianti per molti
anni.
Gli eventuali danni derivanti da difetti di materiale o di
fabbricazione dei raccordi sono coperti da adeguata polizza
assicurativa.
16. FAQ - DOMANDE PIÙ FREQUENTI
1. Cosa si intende per “Sistema Pressfitting”?
Per Sistema Pressfitting si intende la giunzione permanente
fra tubazioni e raccordi, determinata da un’operazione di
pressatura meccanica. Un sistema pressfitting è pertanto
costituito dalle tubazioni, dai raccordi, dagli o-ring di tenuta e,
nella fase di montaggio, dalle pressatrici utilizzate per ottenere
le giunzioni.
2. Cosa offre un “Sistema Pressfitting Omologato”?
Un Sistema Pressfitting è considerato omologato quando
ha superato positivamente le prove condotte da un Ente di
Certificazione di Prodotto per una determinata applicazione.
Effebi-press ha conseguito le più importanti certificazioni
europee (contattare ufficio commerciale Effebi per
informazioni).
L’affidabilità del sistema si ottiene purchè vengano rispettate
le prescrizioni del presente manuale tecnico e in particolare:
- le condizioni operative previste nella omologazione;
- le tecniche generali di impiego, illustrate al capitolo 8;
- le istruzioni per l’installazione, illustrate al capitolo 9.
3. Quali impianti possono essere realizzati con
Effebi-press?
Effebi-press è utilizzabile per diverse applicazioni, in funzione
del materiale:
- l’acciaio inossidabile è utilizzato principalmente per impianti
di distribuzione di acqua potabile e di gas;
- l’acciaio al carbonio è utilizzato principalmente per impianti
di riscaldamento ad acqua calda a circuito chiuso;
La crescente diffusione di questo sistema di giunzione ha
determinato l’impiego di Effebi-press in una ben più vasta
gamma di applicazioni industriali, richiamate ai capitoli 5, 6 e 7.

The use of original Effebi-press Pressfittings, with the correct pipes
and approved pressing tools, coupled with strict adherence to the
technical instructions given for both the design and installation of
the system, will guarantee the longevity of the system.
Damage arising from material or manufacturing defects in the
fittings is fully covered by insurance.

QUESTIONS
1. What does “Pressfitting System” mean?
Pressfitting system means the permanent joining of pipes and
fittings through a mechanical pressing operation. A pressfitting
system comprises the pipes, the fittings, the o-ring seals and, in the
assembly phase, the pressing tools used to produce the joints.
2. What does an “Approved Pressfitting System” offer?
A Pressfitting system is considered approved when it has
successfully passed the tests carried out by a Product Certifying
Body for a certain application.
Effebi-press has obtained the most important European

information).
The system is deemed reliable when the requirements of this
technical guide are respected, and in particular:
- the operating conditions set in the accreditation;

3. Which systems can be created with Effebi-press?
Effebi-press can be used for different applications, depending on
the material:
- stainless steel is mainly used for systems for the distribution of
drinking water and gas;
- carbon steel is mainly used for closed circuit hot water heating
systems;
The growing diffusion of this joining system has led the Effebi-
press to be used in a much wider range of industrial applications,
as mentioned in sections 5, 6 and 7.
