Lito is a collection of three-dimensional decorative elements made of extruded

ceramic, characterized by well-defined volumes and a textured surface that

enhances the interplay of light and shadow. Each piece is crafted using artisanal

methods without industrial techniques, giving the collection its unique character.

The subtle irregularities of the surface, such as gentle ripples and depressions,

are not imperfections but distinctive features that highlight the material’s

authenticity. Natural variations in tone and size, typical of handmade production,

further enrich the product’s identity, ensuring refined aesthetic harmony and a

unique visual impression in every composition.

TECHNICAL FEATURES

- Material: Extruded ceramic.

- Production process: Artisanal extrusion.

- Nominal dimensions: 12 × 12 × 10 cm (tolerance: up to 3 mm).

- Available finishes: Lito comes in natural red body or glossy glazed white body

ceramic, with several color variations. Color tone variations are typical of

artisanal production and fall within a harmonious chromatic range.

- Water absorption: ~15% (UNI EN ISO 10545-12:2000).

- Frost resistance: NOT RESISTANT (UNI EN ISO 10545-12:2000).

APPLICATIONS

Lito elements are intended exclusively for indoor environments and serve a

purely decorative purpose (e.g., cladding, aesthetic partitions). They are not

designed for structural use or load-bearing walls.

INSTALLATION METHODS

Lito elements must be installed according to specific technical guidelines to

ensure stability and proper visual alignment. It is the buyer’s responsibility

to verify the accuracy of received information and to adopt project and

construction solutions in compliance with applicable laws, local regulations, and

good building practices valid at the time and place of installation.

Before installing the 3D elements, a C-shaped perimeter frame must be

mechanically fixed in place. This frame provides containment and adds stability

to the decorative wall.

ANCHORING ON 2 SIDES (TOP AND BOTTOM) – MAX HEIGHT 400 CM:

Suitable for installations with support on the horizontal sides only.

Max height is 400 cm.

ANCHORING ON 3 SIDES (BOTTOM AND VERTICALS) – MAX 400 X 300 CM:

Anchored on three sides for better overall stability. Max dimensions: 400 cm

height, 300 cm width.

ANCHORING ON 2 SIDES (BOTTOM AND ONE VERTICAL) – MAX 250 X 100 CM:

Anchored on two sides. Max dimensions: 250 cm height, 100 cm width.

Limited height helps prevent deformation under load.

JOINTS AND LAYOUT

- Installation can be straight or staggered. On-site cutting of Lito is not

recommended.

- Recommended joint: 2–3 mm to allow for expansion and dimensional variation

due to handmade production.

- Use self-leveling spacers to maintain consistent surface alignment.

For optimal installation, we recommend using an eco-friendly neutral silane-

based sealant, suitable for waterproof sealing and offering high adhesion on

both absorbent and non- absorbent surfaces. Examples: Aquastop Nanosil by

Kerakoll, Mapesil AC by Mapei (always refer to specific product datasheets to

confirm project suitability). These advanced sealants ensure strong, lasting

adhesion and preserve the aesthetic and functional integrity of the installation.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

Given Lito’s handcrafted surface, follow these steps for proper maintenance:

POST-INSTALLATION CLEANING:

- Remove adhesive residue using diluted neutral detergent in warm water.

- If adhesive drips during application, allow to dry completely before removing

with a sharp blade.

- Avoid aggressive acid cleaners that may alter the finish.

ROUTINE MAINTENANCE:

- Clean with soft cloths and pH-neutral cleaners.

- Avoid abrasive sponges or harsh chemical solvents.
