Besides its significance as a typological innovation and its

intrinsic value as a design object, Acquagrande has marked

a turning point in the history of Flaminia and, since 1997,

has signified the company’s intention to give design pride

of place in the bathroom, paving the way for many other

companies in the sector.

In the years that followed, many designers of international

renown have enriched Flaminia’s product lineup.

To celebrate our first 60 years, we have selected an item

that embodies the company’s DNA in terms of quality, research,

manufacturing skills.

We asked ten major architects and designers from various

countries to work out an interpretation of their own from

looking at the surfaces of the Acquagrande washbasin.

Thus “Variazioni” was born: a limited edition of pieces that are

greatly diversified in terms of appearance and yet have

a common denominator: the elegance and the innovative

content that has always been a prerogative of Flaminia.
